Feelings lost?
Refering to a blog message posted by Mikanico's "The feelings lost?", I have the following comment:
Having been on the receiving end of "maybe feeling's lost" comment, I know what you're talking about. For some, they were not prepared to be in a relationship in the first place... they rushed into it thinking it was the right thing to do... because of the initial attraction and excitement of love. At that point, you are willing to do anything to please your partner.
But reality sets in soon enough. Yours and his real life (before you met this person) starts to interfere with the relationship. Your goals in life start to differ (or was never the same in the first place). The person you thought you knew... you realised that you never really knew well enough. Bad habits start to rise to the surface. In short, it becomes difficult and complicated... there are more things to consider than you expected. You start having to compromise. And are those differences actually compromisable? That's for both to decide and talk it through.
In your example, one party decided to call it quits. The other had to suffer the consequences. And when one was not even aware of the problem makes it even worse and heart-breaking.
But we must always remember that it all happened for the best. That was the way that it was meant to turn out. There's no point in holding on when there's nothing substantial to hold on to. When both are not ready, it's just a waste of time and emotion. We all deserve better. :)
After having a failed relationship, the next one will require more thought and consideration. The next one will not be based on that first attraction anymore. As Kurios mentioned, knowing what you want and letting your partner know before you fall into love is important. Focus on the goal, people. And aim for the best... :)

We all deserve better..well, I think it is just for self consolation :). Welcome to read my comment on http://jarjar666.blogspot.com
Aim for the best...hmm..I think love is unconditional. Being with the bad just shows the greatness of love. It is easy to enjoy one's good point but it takes love to accept one's bad point. My opinion is love is not about meeting your expection, it is about accepting the real perosn you love.
I don't think it's just self-consolation. We DO deserve what is best for us. That's what everyone of us deserves.
