Welcome to America!

Greetings from America! Have been here for about 5 days now. Arrived on Saturday nite (US time), and will be arriving back in KL on Monday afternoon. The itinerary includes San Francisco-Las Vegas-San Francisco. Just got back from Las Vegas this evening. Man, there's so much to see and so little time to do it all! And I have already maxed out the 128MB on my camera CF card. Hehe...

I went to the Grand Canyon yesterday and it was beautiful. I'm gonna need at least a few blogs to put everything down here, so that I can remember what and where I've been to. And also, a guide to Las Vegas, especially those interested to visit it anytime soon. :)

So stay tuned people!

In the meantime, what's done is done, and all I can hope for is that the markers are kind and let me off the hook!! Please, please, please giv
e me a passing grade so I don't have to go through that paper again!!!!! :D

Ok, what you have all been waiting for... PICTURES GALORE!!! Hehehe....

Annual Dinner @ Bukit Merah Laketown Resort (9-10 Sept 2006)

The annual dinner for PAMB was held at the Bukit Merah Laketown Resort this year. Last year at Sunway Hotel, I guess I didn't really enjoy it all that much. But this year was extra special, because I was in-charge of putting up a staff salsa performance. So with my limited salsa knowledge and with lots of research (on websites and Havana Estudio!!), I managed to come up with a simple performance which I hoped could wow the audience nonetheless.

For a moment there, I was worried and stressed that I won't be able to pull it off. What with my actuarial exam around the corner (4 days after the annual dinner event!!) and work commitments: coming up with the choreography, organising the dance practice sessions, teaching the dance steps, coordinating the whole dance group... But I had a fantastic team of 'dancers' with me... enthusiatic, committed and fast learners. They made the whole thing so much easier. Thanks to my whole team!!!

So when the day came for performance time, we were ready. Ready to impress, ready to show our stuff... and most importantly, ready to have FUN! And the whole performance was FAN-TA-BU-LOUS! It couldn't have been better! I have part of the performance recorded and let me tell you now: It looked GREAT! ;) I will try to post pictures as soon as I get them. :)

Thanks team! For a fabulous night, a fantastic performance... and honouring me with your commitment, your enthusiasm, your friendship and hardwork! Couldn't have done it without you guys!! :)

Do You Need A Man?

You Don't Need a Man, but You Want One!

You like having a guy in your life, and overall, you prefer not to be single.
You won't go out with a guy out of desperation.. you rather be alone.
However, when you're single, you do tend to obsess a little over dating.
Because no matter how good your single life is, it's better with a great guy around.
Do You Need a Man?

Aptly put! Describes me to a T, I think. :)
